Just wanted to let you all know that I’ll be away for a week or so, visiting family. (My sister really wants me to do a “I really really don’t live here: Las Vegas Edition” but I don’t think we’ll have time.)
***
Last year, I took some amazing photos in Vegas and in the desert, and hope to get some more this trip too. You can see those photos here.
In the meantime, while I’m away, there’s well over 100 people here on this i live here:SF site: Have you read all of their great stories? If not, do some catching up in the sidebar and I’ll have more stories for you when I get back!

Hi everyone.
It’s me, Julie. If I’ve taken your photo for this project, then you probably recognized me.
I wanted to thank you. I wanted to thank you, my wonderful readers and enthusiasts, my subjects and my city. You have given me an incredible opportunity to encounter my environment and the people that call San Francisco home, just by you being you. I never in a million years would have guessed that my little project started in February 2009 would have come to this point, with over 100 faces and stories and growing every day.
It’s because of you that I’m so proud to tell you that i live here:SF is going to have a show. This project, all of you who have allowed your photos and stories to be shared with the world, will have a wonderful exhibition at the SOMarts Cultural Center in November 2010.
Save the date for the opening night party: November 5, 2010.
I look forward to seeing you then!
With so much gratitude,
Julie
ps.: This project is ongoing and that won’t change anytime soon. So please do be in touch if you want to participate. The details are here.
